Welcome Verix Technology Subscribers,
Welcome! As President & CEO of Waymark Internet, let me be the first to welcome you. As you get to know Waymark, I hope we exceed your expectations by providing the most powerful features, fastest service, and most supportive customer assistance. Let me tell you a little about Waymark and offer a few pointers.
Waymark Communications is a full service telecommunications company offering services throughout the United States to subscribers who have traditionally been based in the DFW metroplex, whether individually or corporately. Since 1991, we have built our reputation on quality and service. We are not in this game to get rich quickly; but to bring our subscribers along with us as we find new and innovative ways to address technology issues. We are a family—one that gains its inherent value in its subscriber loyalty.
In 1995, at the requests of our then current customers, Waymark Communications chose to start a business unit to offer commercial Internet services. These commercial businesses were dissatisfied with the ISP’s in the market. We were not attracted to offering residential services at that time. Our entry into servicing residential customers came after a request from many users who had been left with an out of business and bankrupt ISP to service them in McKinney, Texas. Waymark stepped in and began servicing these subscribers and honored payments they had made to the former provider. The great appreciation given to us by these subscribers, who without us would have to call long distance into Dallas, overwhelmed us and caused us to make room to offer a high-quality, high availability service offering to other residential subscribers.
Six years have passed and we cannot claim to the cheapest, but then again it was never our desire to be cheap. We can claim to have many success stories. Our dominance in Collin County continues along with the acquisition of many industry leading customers known worldwide and even a few novel customers like Chemical Bank and Blockbuster Video. This is what causes us to be very pleased to have you onboard the Waymark network. We know that as a Verix Technology subscriber you appreciate the benefits of utilizing a quality provider. This will make your transition to the Waymark network very comfortable. The warm and personal touch provided by Verix Technology will continue. New points-of-presence will be immediately available to those of you in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex typically affording a higher throughput and connect speeds. We do look forward to upgrading your service as you request.
While I do make many day-to-day decisions, my tour of duty as a US Marine has instilled the great value of proper execution through planning and team building. The Waymark team is one that accepts the responsibility of their respective positions and makes decisions. This authority empowered in and accepted by each employee provides the structure that gives Waymark’s subscribers strong confidence in our subscriber support channels and ultimately reflects on our overall presence in the Dallas/Ft. Worth marketplace.
This effort along with our subscribers’ attitude and enthusiasm for our consistent network quality has given Waymark the success it has been seeking.
